'Love Is The Answer'
Christ's Love.
In my heart I know without doubt it is true
That love is the answer for me and for you.
No matter what trial may come your way,
The answer that will take you to a brighter day
Is to open your heart to receiving Christ's Love;
The best medicine for the soul comes from above.
Stand firm in your faith and face your trials head on
With Christ's Love as your weapon you'll have the strength to go on.
The toughest of obstacles will be overcome with ease
Just ask Him in prayer, go on, fall to your knees.
Don't ever be too proud to admit your weakness
God's longing to help us with His gentle sweetness.
He is ever waiting patiently for us to turn to Him
Forgiveness is what He offers to free us from all sin.
It was never intended for us to face life alone
With Christ's Love as your weapon you'll have the strength to go on.

God's Patience
When I'm feeling weak and lost
When my heart is filled with fear
I need to recall the words of my Lord
"Be not afraid for I am always near."
My child I long to ease your pain
What hurts you, hurts me more
I want to be the one you turn to
When your pain is aching and raw.
But I must step aside and wait
Til you seek the security I offer
It pains me so to watch you stumble
My heart and soul how they suffer.
There is so very little I ask of you
Yet you're convinced you'll survive on your own
How many times will we complete this cycle
Before the strength of my love to you is known.
Don't let go of the love I give
Don't hold on to your foolish pride
I am here and I will carry you
Through life's tumultuous tide.

A Forgotten Rule
As long as I live I will never understand
The cruelty that exists here on earth,
The rule of learning to think before we speak
Is one that should be taught right from birth.
But sadly this rule has long been forgotten
As too much focus is placed on material gain,
We've forgotten the importance of eloquent speech
All words seem to be spat out with disdain.
Take a moment to think about what you are saying
After reading this poem make an effort to change
